Step #2:- This section consists of audio files narrating some commonly used abbreviations in transcription. Abbreviations are used very frequently by physicians in their dictations. Knowledge of some of the most frequently used abbreviations therefore becomes essential. Often the same abbreviation has two or more different meanings. However, with practice and depending on the content one can easily identify to which definition the abbreviation is relating to. Transcribe these abbreviations and then compare them with the final transcript in the Transcribed Documents section.

Step #3:- The physical examination is one of the most important aspects of a medical dictation. As a medical transcriptionist, you will come across this part virtually in almost every medical recording. Therefore, we prepared some audios having several types of such dictations. These dictations will give you ample amount of practice for quality transcription. So start transcribing these dictations and then compare your transcripts with those from Transcribed Documents in Step 3.
